Twikit is a B2B software company in the space of digital manufacturing. Their cloud platform enables brands to bring personalized products to market in a scalable way by leveraging the power of design automation and on-demand digital manufacturing. The end-to-end workflow connects customizers in the front-end with manufacturing hubs through API in the back-end. It is a universal solution which runs in a variety of segments, such as automotive and wearables. Twikit is a member of the iAMfootwear consortium, where the platform solution, as well as Laddy kernel, is used to enable made-to-fit midsoles.
Product manufacturers are in a transitional stage between prototype and low-volume production using individual machines on the one hand and fully industrialized series production on the other. Essential factors here are productivity, process stability, end-to-end data chains, speed, quality, and IT security. We as Siemens support these transformation in the iAMfootwear consortium through our holistic approach with design engineering, order management, print preparation, factory planning, software and automation solutions.
EOS converts the digital world into a physical one. EOS’ cutting edge AM technology transforms the powder material (ARKEMA’s PEBAX) into powerful and dynamic lattice structures. These lattice structures deliver unique energy return, impact absorption and comfort. Cell by cell, strut by strut. EOS further provides all partners and customers freedom to operate by owning key intellectual property in multi lattice AM components. EOS is proud to be play a leading role in this powerful consortium and ecosystem.
DyeMansion is the global leader in post-processing solutions for industrial polymer 3D-printing that turn 3D-printed raw parts into high-value products. From perfect fit eyewear to personalized car interiors, their technology makes 3D-printed products become a part of our everyday life. DyeMansion’s Print-to-Product workflow combines industry-leading hardware with the widest range of color and surfacing options on the market. Their systems are applicable for Industry 4.0 and can be integrated seamlessly into various production processes. In this project, the DyeMansion Print-to-Product workflow transforms the midsoles printed with ARKEMA’s PEBAX material on EOS SLS technology into colorful, sealed end-use parts with the right look and properties.

Building on its unique set of expertise in materials science, Arkema designs materials to address the ever-growing demand for innovative and sustainable materials. Arkema is a leading global supplier of high performance polymers, one of them being Pebax® elastomers. We have developed an extensive range of materials dedicated to 3D printing technologies. The inherent combination of lightness, toughness, flexibility and outstanding energy return has helped establish Pebax® resins as the reference polymers in several flagship sports applications. The midsoles printed for the iAMfootwear initiative are made from a Pebax® Rnew® grade, which is partially bio based, using the same source as Rilsan® Polyamide 11 (PA11): Castor oil, derived from the seeds of castor plants (a non-edible plant that grows with little need for water).
